Asics launches anniversary shoe with Right To Play
KO100™ in honour of ASICS founder
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding father, Kihachiro Onitsuka, ASICS is launching an exclusive, limited-edition footwear and apparel pack created to reflect Mr. Onitsuka's positive outlook on life. $10 from every KO100™ shoe or clothing purchase will go towards sponsoring one child in our program in Lebanon to play sports for 10 weeks.
Healthy mind and body
In 1949 Kihachiro Onitsuka founded ASICS with a clear philosophy to help people move more and feel healthy in both mind and body. This philosophy continues to drive what the company does today, including the partnership with Right To Play. Your donation will support sport and play activities for Syrian refugee children and local communities in Lebanon, including training of volunteer coaches who run weekly Right To Play programs.
Right To Play in Lebanon
Many children in Lebanon face a lack of positive outlets through which they can channel their energy. They feel unsafe and lack access to safe spaces and opportunities to move and play. This inhibits children from being active, productive and positively contributing to the communities they are in. Through this partnership, Right To Play and ASICS can provide this much needed outlet, and contribute to their physical, mental and emotional health.
