Evelyn Stevens

Evelyn Stevens was born in Claremont, CA in 1983 but grew up in Acton, MA. She has four siblings, Angela (who introduced her to cycling), Mike, Drew, and Mary.
After graduating from Dartmouth College in 2005,she moved to New York City and began her career on Wall Street. Stevens started in the investment banking division of Lehman Brothers for two years, then for Gleacher Mezzanine before quitting in July 2009 to take up cycling full-time. Evelyn joined KKR in 2016 and is a Principal on the KKR Credit team.
Ms. Stevens was a professional road cyclist competing in the Rio & London Olympics. In London (2012), she finished 24th in the women’s road race. In Rio (2016), she finished 10th in the women's individual time trial and 12th in road race.4
On February 27, 2016, Stevens rode the UCI Hour record for women with a distance of 47.980 km (29.81339 miles). She broke the previous record by 1.1 km. Her record was surpassed the following year. Stevens was one of only three women to win four gold medals in the women's team time trial at the UCI Road World Championships.
